A large, well-lit fountain presides over the circle entrance with its Spanish oaks that make for a park-like setting. Here you'll be greeted by a staffer, making you feel welcome and glad you came. We have separate entrances to the restaurant and bar, or you can go right to the business of golf and the famous stocked to the brim golf pro shop.
"Coiffed" golf!
At Columbia Lakes, the course is artwork in nature! All the tee and green surrounds are gorgeous, with 30-year old wax-leaf ligustrums "coiffed" into various shapes and designs, and painstakingly maintained by staff.
Every hole, tee and green is like a shady little park, with welcome respites at the exits and entrances to every hole on the course.
We're proud to be the home of Bob Putt, golf's first Master Professional in Texas. Bob is our instructor and is a regular contributor many golf magazines such as Houston Links, Texas Golfer and has written many articles for national magazines such as Golf Digest and Golf Magazine. He is ably assisted by PGA Head Golf Professional David Garver, a 21 year veteran in his own right.
